Margaret Ann (Marge) Camden, 84-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Saturday, October 3, 2020 at her residence. She was born July 9, 1936 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Bernard and Margaret Saladin. After raising her daughters, Marge continued her education and spent the next 20 years as a nurse, fulfilling what she described as her purpose in life. Prior to nursing, Marge worked as a substitute postmistress, an EMT, and in the stitching department at Vitronic. After retirement, Marge served with the Lean On Me Food Pantry for approximately 20 years. She was an active member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Marge’s husband of 64 years, Norman L. (Roy) Camden predeceased her on February 15, 2020; they were married August 20, 1955, in Naylor, MO. Marge was also preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, John Saladin, Bernard Saladin, and Joe Saladin. Surviving are daughters, Becky (Monty) York of Doniphan, MO and Dona Hulan of Poplar Bluff, MO; brothers, William Saladin and Robert Saladin of Sussex, WI; and sister Joanne Ellenbecker of Nokomis, FL; grandchildren, Nicholas York, Stephanie Greenwood, Christopher Hulan, Daniel Hulan, and Sarah Hulan; and great-grandchildren, Austin, Jonathan, Kaylee, Camden, Levi, and Ryder. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020, and a Rosery Service will be at 11:00 a.m. at Edwards Funeral Home, Inc. with a Catholic Mass following at noon at St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Doniphan. Memorials may be made to the Ripley County Library.
