Obituary of David Lee Blackshear

David Lee Blackshear, 60 years old, was born on his big sister’s, Liz Cox’s, birthday, on August 11, 1960, in Fennville, MI, to Buell and Eller Blackshear. He passed at his home in Doniphan, MO on Monday, October 26, 2020. David had worked in Texas in the oil fields. He enjoyed hunting when his health permitted. He also loved spending time with his family. David is survived by three sons, Jeremiah Blackshear of Doniphan, Joshua Blackshear, and Rocky Nierman (Wendy), all of Doniphan; one daughter, Heather Magee of Benton, MO; his eight grandchildren, Austin Blackshear, Marley Blackshear, Chevy Ray Blackshear, Ethan Nierman, Logan Nierman, Waylon Nierman, Jewell Magee, and Cory Magee; two sisters, Liz Cox (Ronnie) of Maynard, AR and Sharon Ray of Poplar Bluff; and two brothers, Junior Blackshear (Anita) of Doniphan and J. T. Blackshear of Doniphan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Blackshear was preceded in death by his parents, Buell and Eller Blackshear, and three sisters, Mae Brooks, Mary Snider, and Bonnie Zebre.
