Obituary of Brenda Joy Hooker

Brenda Joy (Trotter) Hooker, 71 year old resident of Ripley County, MO departed this life Monday, November 23, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Hooker was born March 8, 1949 in St. Louis, MO to the late Jessie and Helen Lee Trotter. She retired from General Motors after 20 plus years, finishing her career in Bowling Green, KY. Brenda enjoyed reading, fishing, and camping.
On March 30, 2002 she was married to William Hooker, who survives.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother Robert Trotter.
Also surviving are 1 daughter, Theresa Hicks of Bowling Green, KY; 1 son Jimmy (Erin) Kinkade of Jackson, MO; 2 step-daughters Destiny Hooker of Vandalia, MO; Emily Hooker of Collinsville, IL; son-in-law Keith Hicks of Bowling Green, KY; Grandchildren, Josh (Brittany) Hicks, Stephen (Tiffany) Hicks, Danielle (Ryan) Spurgeon, Kendra and Caitlin Thompson,; Great-grandchildren Gavin, Gage, Nevaeh, Finnley; 1 brother Steve (Teana) Trotter of Grandin, MO; and a host of family of friends.
Visitation for Brenda will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 10 AM with the funeral service following at 11 AM, with Pastor Scott Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be in the Macedonia Cemetery.
