Obituary of Ellsworth Calvin Moore

Ellsworth Calvin Moore, Jr., 68, of Fairdealing, MO, departed this life Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born February 15, 1952 in St. Louis, MO to Ellsworth Calvin Moore, Sr. and Mina Lee (Huggins) Moore. Ellsworth enjoyed music and loved to play the guitar and sing. Family sing alongs highlighted family get-togethers. He also liked to farm.
On January 25, 1975, Ellsworth married Debra Thomas at Fairview Church. She survives. Also surviving are his sons, Caleb (Monica) Moore of Fairdealing, MO and Travis Moore of Cuba, MO; sisters, Shirlene (Gene) Easler of Troy, MO, Regina (Kelsey) Holmes and Donna Turner, both of Doniphan, and Sherry (Charles) Ferrell of KY; brother, David Moore of Doniphan; and his grandchildren, William Moore, Kalista (Tyler) Jackson, and Alexandra Moore.
Ellsworth was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Allen.
Visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from noon to 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2:00. Pastor James Gore will be officiating.
