Obituary of Dale Foulks

Willie Dale Foulks, 75-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Friday, January 29, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born August 23, 1945 in Tucker, MO to Dortha (Anderson) Foulks Calvert and the late Frank Foulks. Dale was a car salesman, which was a good match with his friendly and outgoing personality. He loved to take his grandchildren hunting and fishing. Each of his hunting buddies got their first deer while hunting with Papa Dale. He enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and would talk politics with anyone who would join in the conversation. His favorite pastime, however, was spending time with his family that he dearly loved. Dale was of the Baptist faith and loved the Lord. On December 23, 1995, Dale married Judy Wyatt in Doniphan. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Nathan (Terri) Foulks of Doniphan, Tina (Jeff) Helderman of Cape Girardeau, MO, and Dana (Bryan) Griffin of Doniphan; his sister, Frankie Ballard of Doniphan; stepsister, Doreen Brown, also of Doniphan; his brothers, Jim (Tina) Foulks of Doniphan and Frank Chastine of Pocahontas; his grandchildren, Josh, Ashley, Greg, Kyle, Keniann, Justin, Cody, Danielle, Mallory, Garrett, and Lynsi; as well as several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his dad, Dale was preceded in death by his stepfather, Amos Calvert; sisters, Barbara Sue Crapo and Vicki Lawrence; brothers, Whitey Foulks, Ed Foulks, and Doyle Foulks; and his granddaughter, Natalie Grace. Visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Friday, February 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Curtis Crowley officiating. Burial will follow at Tucker Cemetery.
