Obituary of Rick Dale

Ricky Allen Dale, 62, of Couch, MO and lifelong resident of Ripley County, departed this life Wednesday, March 10, 2021. He was born December 22, 1958 at Mountain View, MO to the late Cecil Allen and Shirley (Delana) Dale. Ricky was a logger and worked in the timber. He enjoyed truck pulling events and was on the In-law Outlaw Sled Team. Ricky also liked to hunt and fish. He attended Twin Pines Pentecostal Church. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. On December 20, 1991, Ricky married Cretia Clayton in Pocahontas, AR. She survives. Also surviving is his daughter Cecily (Jesse) Janes of Couch, and two grandchildren, Hoyt Allen Janes and Jaycee Jean Janes. In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Artie Delana and Rector and Emma Dale, his sister, Kim Johnson, and his brother-in-law, Donnie Johnson. Visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, March 14, 2021 with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Pastor J. W. Johnson will be officiating. Burial will be in Bardley Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bobby Dale, Scott Dale, Duke Turnage, Jimmy Clayton, Keith Wilkerson, and Rick Reynolds. Honorary Pallbearers are Jesse Janes, Hoyt Janes, David Dale, Jack Watson, Jim Clayton, Robert Kirby, and Sam Bell.
