Family meant everything to him, and his legacy lives on through his 12 children- nine daughters and three sons, 40 grandchildren, and 36 great grandchildren, with many more to come.
Survivors include his beautiful wife- Marlena Maxwell, ten children- Tisha Maxwell of Poplar Bluff, William (Kayla) Maxwell of Grandin, Rose Maxwell of Poplar Bluff, Sarah (Nathan) Raymer of Ellsinore, Matthew (Tiffany) Maxwell of Poplar Bluff, Dewey Maxwell of St. Louis, and Rachel (Joseph) Thurman of Ellsinore, as well as Tina (Charlie) Terrel of Tulare, California, Helen (Joey) Collins of Porterville, California, and Theresa (Robert) VanRossum of Reno, Nevada and two sisters- Marjorie (James) Humphres and Judy Howton both of Tulare, California.
