Obituary of Johnny Ray Watts

Johnny Ray Watts, 49, departed this life Saturday, September 18, 2021 at St. Bernards Healthcare in Jonesboro, AR. He was born April 25, 1972 in Hayti, MO to Cheri Watts of Doniphan, MO and the late Corral Quick.
Johnny was a farmer. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and farming. He cherished his time spent with his family, especially his children. Johnny also spent time scrapping.
On July 6, 2003, Johnny married Cindy Simmons in Paris, IL. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Candace Bolin of Kennett, MO and Tyler Gingerich of Doniphan; his sisters, Audra Quick of Oklahoma, and Melissa Gambling of Doniphan; his brothers, Coril James Quick of Doniphan and Jerry Watts, also of Doniphan; and his grandchildren, Chaton, Rynnlea, Raelynn, Taylee, Jayla, and Colby. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Doniphan First Baptist Church on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Monty Flanigan will be officiating.
