Obituary of Roma Garrison

Roma R. Garrison, 88, of Sikeston, Missouri, formerly of Doniphan, Missouri, died Saturday, January 7, 2012, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston.
Mrs. Garrison, daughter of the late Robert and Edna (Carey) Pyatt, was born March 12, 1923, in Cherryville, Missouri. She retired as a nurses' aide in the healthcare profession.
Surviving are three sons; Delmar "Doc" Williams of Vancouver, Washington, Daniel Williams of Deming, New Mexico, and Rickie Roy Richardson of Wheatland, Wyoming; one niece, Mae Ederly and family of Doniphan, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren, over 50 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Jack Parham of Sikeston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Edna Pyatt, her husband, Robert "Bob" Garrison, one sister, Edith Adams and three brothers, Reo Carey, Edwin Carey and Delmar Pyatt.
A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Antioch Cemetery near Oxly, Missouri, with Reverend Ira Sandefer officiating.
