Jennie B. Saunders, 78 year old resident of Doniphan, passed into our Father's waiting arms on August 6, 2007. Mrs. Saunders was born October 20, 1928, in Sandusky, Ohio. On June 14, 1947 she was married to William Saunders, who preceded her in death on June 17, 1983. Surviving are children, DianaSue and James Eckenrode and family; Ken and Peggy Saunders and family; Judi and Fred Saunders and family; Leah Stallsworth and family; Her brother, Horace "Doc" and Della Richards and family; Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren, Will and Shelley Large(Lynne, Faith, William); Stacy and Tom Staffey(Tre, Ryan, Gregory, Brian); Shawn and Heather Large(Megan, Shaelynne, Shawn, Jr., Makayla, Haile, Jordan Camren); Lee and Marla Saunders(Nathaniel Lee); David Baer; Joshua and Bethany Truck(Jaida Rose); and Jennifer Matthews. A private memorial service will be held for her at Arlington National Cemetery where her husband is buried.
