Obituary of Ronald Elvin Hudson
Ronald Elvin Hudson, 76-year-old resident of Gatewood, MO departed this life Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the Saint Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. He was born August 14, 1945 in Doniphan, MO to the late Arnold C. and Sybil Murdock Hudson.
Mr. Hudson was self employed in the sawmill industry, attended the Assembly of God Church in Pocahontas, AR and had served in the National Guard. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, being with family, and taking his family out to eat.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Owen L. Hudson.
On May 13, 1969, in Gatewood, MO, he was married to Alice Redus Hudson, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Julie (Jeff) Cochran of Warm Springs, AR; one brother, Jerald Hudson of Gatewood, MO; two grandchildren, Crystal (Devin) Haulcroft and Brittany (Guyton) Derryberry; and two great-grandchildren, Lillyan and Hayden Haulcroft.
Visitation for Mr. Hudson will be Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 5-8 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 2 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Miller officiating. Burial will be in the New Home Cemetery.
