Obituary of Daisy Williams

Daisy Williams, 96, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Friday, April 22, 2022. She was born June 12, 1925 in Caruthersville, MO to the late Clarence and Clara (Ayers) Johnston.

 

Daisy liked to work in the yard and was a knowledgeable gardener who appreciated the rewards of her nice lawn and lovely garden. When not outside working, Daisy liked to quilt. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Doniphan.

 

Surviving is her daughter, Paula (Larry) O’Neal, of Warm Springs, AR, and 1 grandson Randy (Heather) Williams of Ocean Springs, MS; and one granddaughter Renette (Chris) Barnard of Bolivar, MO.

 

Daisy was preceded in by three sons, Joe Wayne Williams, Jeffrey Alan Williams, and Barry Edward Williams; and two daughters, Sharon Ashley and Janie Tucker.

 

Her greatest pleasure was walking in the woods, so it is only fitting that she be laid to rest among her beloved hills.

 

A graveside service will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
