Viana “Vi” Faye Stilwell, 62-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Sunday, May 1, 2022. She was born March 17, 1960 in Doniphan to Wyman Hoefer and Eileen (Holland) Hoefer.

 

Vi was a registered nurse. She enjoyed politics and reading. Her little dog, Bentley was a joy and kept her company. She was of the Episcopal faith.

 

On December 21, 1984, Vi married Donald Wayne “Pete” Stilwell in Doniphan. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1998.

 

Surviving are her parents; a daughter, Heather (Joe) Grutt of Doniphan; a sister, Renita Bissette, also of Doniphan; a brother, W. Y. Hoefer of Chaffee; grandchildren, Joann Wayman and fiancée, Matthew Gladden, of Harviell, MO and Wyatt Wayman of Doniphan; as well as many relatives and friends.

 

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 4, 2022 in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Steve Sanders will be officiating and interment will be in the Doniphan Mausoleum.
