Obituary of Steve Briscoe

Steven Ray Briscoe, 62-year-old resident of Fairdealing, MO, departed this life Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO.  He was born July 21, 1960, in Poplar Bluff to Marvin and Mayrene (Nicholson) Briscoe. 

Steve attended the First Baptist Church in Doniphan and was a St. Louis Cardinal fan and avid bingo player. He enjoyed his retirement which gave him more time to spend with his family and focus on his grandchildren.

On May 2, 1987, in Poplar Bluff, he was married to Sherry Luttrull who survives.  Also surviving are his children, Steven Briscoe, Jr. of Poplar Bluff, MO, Paula (Dustin) Bodkin of Doniphan, MO, and Katelyn (Cody) Crawford of Poplar Bluff, MO; brothers, Ray (Cindy) Briscoe and Gary (Crystal) Briscoe, both of Poplar Bluff, MO; sister-in-law, Tena Briscoe of Doniphan; and grandchildren, Isaiah Ray Briscoe and Reese Bodkin. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald, David, Dale, and James Briscoe and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be at the Doniphan First Baptist Church on Monday, November 14, 2022, beginning at noon with the funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery. Pastor Monty Flanigan will be officiating.
