Obituary of Gill Edward Johnson

Gill Edward Johnson, 59, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born July 4, 1963, in Kennett, MO to Morris E. and Minnie Marie (Brewer) Johnson.

Gill was a landscaper. He enjoyed watching Westerns, and his favorite show was Bonanza.

Surviving are his sons, Jeffrey (Melissa) Johnson of Doniphan and Gill Johnson, Jr. of Kennett, MO; sisters, Annie Wilbur, Patsy Treat, and Sarah Brant; brothers, Paul Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson, and J. W. Brewer; and his six grandchildren, Jelina, Morgan, Jemson, Hunter, Timber, and Kenzi.

Gill was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Steen and Faye Johnson.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A graveside service will be Friday, December 9, 2022, at Pratt Cemetery with Brother Chuck Carr officiating.
