Obituary of Linda Agnes Carter
Linda enjoyed quilting. She also loved cooking, which she had done all her life, gardening, and fishing. Linda was a very hard worker and was dedicated to accomplishing whatever was needed. She was a loving and caring wife, friend, and mother. Many times, she did without to make sure her loved ones had what they needed.
On January 1, 1993, Linda married Charles A. Carter in Ellsinore. He preceded her in death in 2004. She was also preceded by her father and a stepson, Jason Carter
Surviving are her daughters, Sheila (Tim) Boleyn of Hazleton, IA and Elizabeth Ann (Ronnie) Garrett of Poplar Bluff, MO; three stepchildren, Shayne (Ellen) Carter, Travis (Jodie) Carter, and Shaquila Beggs; a sister, Susan Ham of Ellsinore; a brother, Ted Ham of Texas; and a grandchild, Rainy Nickole Lathrop, as well as many step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Doniphan on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., also at Edwards Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow at Whites Mill Cemetery in Ellsinore.
