Obituary of Doris E. Iser

Doris E. Iser, 92, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life, Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. She was born November 17, 1930, in Osceola TX, to the late Jessie Charles and Myrtle (Johns) Watson.

Doris enjoyed sewing. She also had chickens she fed and raised. A relaxing evening included sitting on the porch swing and reading her Bible which she was very dedicated to do.

Doris married William L. Iser in 1950 giving them 72 years of marriage. He survives. Also surviving is her daughter, Kathy Monaghan of Doniphan; grandchildren, Bill (Paula) Monaghan, James (Sonya) Monaghan, Rob (Christy) Monaghan, Jeff (Amber) Monaghan, Brian (Tasha) Monaghan, and Brittney (Jason) Monaghan; 27 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Doris was also preceded in death by a son, Randy Iser, and all eight of her siblings.

A memorial visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
