I’m one of Wade’s cousins. I don’t have a particular memory just lots of good memories from over the years. My family always visited with his when they lived out by the Oak Ridge church. My dad, Connie Dale and Wade’s dad were very good friends. I have always loved Wade’s Mom and Dad and his brother Craig. The best thing about Wade was his laugh and how we always seemed to have so much to catch up on when we visited. The last really good visit we had was at Winfred’s auction. My memories of Wade are when we spent summers at grandma and grandpa Whitwells. We had alot of fun on the farm. We picked many a bucket of black berries together. I also hold dear to my heart the time I spent on his families farm some of my best childhood memories. Wade was always so nice to me.

When Wade and I were really, really young we decided to play a prank on Craig. He had gone somewhere with Jim. Wade and I dug a big hole in the field. We knew Craig was going to fall in P and we were going to laugh at him. Well, we saw Craig come in the house later. We said Craig did you see that big hole in the field? He said "Yea, I saw that, I almost fell in. We were so disappointed.

Q: What will you miss most about Wade? A: I will miss wrapping my arms around him, he always gave the sweetest hugs. I will miss him playing cards with the kids. The goofy faces he made. His laugh. His smile. His voice. I will always miss everything about the best Dad in this world. He loved all of us so much and always made sure to show it!!
