Obituary of Emma Lee Blagg
Emma Blagg, 69-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Monday, January 23, 2023. She was born March 6, 1953, in Bakersfield, CA, to James and Mildred (Hoskins) Bevans.
Emma had a caring and nurturing nature. She had been a CNA providing care to others. She also liked to take care of plants and spoil her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Emma loved the outdoors and spending time fishing and camping.
In 1990, Emma married Arthur Blagg in Yakima, WA. He preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Albert Bevans; half-brothers, James Bevans III and Randy Bevans; and half-sister, Robin Asbell.
Surviving are her children, Jonathan (Tonqua) Lamb, Laura Lamb, Jennifer (Jeff) Darnell, and Christopher (Sarah) Lamb; half-sisters, Lura Mobley, Retta Jo Hale, Michelle Heilman, Gloria Bevans Mislang, Debbie Bevans Stone, and Cindy Bevans Saveh; half-brothers, Roy Mobley and Benjamin Bevans; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren as well as extended family and friends too numerous to count.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
