Obituary of Randy Gordon Wilson
Randy Gordon Wilson, 62-year-old resident of Naylor, MO, departed this life on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Randy was born October 29, 1960, in Doniphan, MO, to the late Granville and Bertha Mae (Collins) Wilson.
Randy loved cars and appreciated anything that had to do with automobiles ranging from Hot Wheels to body work, which he was widely known for excelling in. A member of Midland Church in Poplar Bluff, MO, Randy enjoyed worship music. Hobbies for Randy included fishing; yard work, and he kept his yard in pristine condition, and watching his favorite baseball and football teams. His most treasured time was that spent with his family, especially playing with his grandson, John.
On May 5, 1979, Randy married Susan Payne in Doniphan. She survives. Also surviving is his daughter Jessica (Brandon) Meyers of Naylor; his siblings, Deloris “Dody” (Gary) Garrett of Warrenton, MO, Juanita (Jim) Johnson, Dwaine (Sherrie) Wilson, and Sandy (Junior) Mathis, all of Doniphan; and his grandson, John Meyers.
In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Wilson.
