Amber King, 61, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Monday, April 17, 2023, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. She was born April 13, 1962, in West Palm Beach, FL, to the late Walter Denetri King and Majorie Joan (LeRiche) Matera.

 

Amber loved her dog, who was a dear companion and kept her company. She enjoyed listening to music. Before becoming disabled, Amber was active and a hard worker. She found detailing cars to be rewarding. With her outgoing personality and kindhearted nature, Amber never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone.

 

Surviving is a daughter, Heather Borovy; sisters, Carol Mullins of Doniphan and Bonnie Kohler of Wellington, FL; a brother, Roy King of Palm Springs, FL; along with several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Christina Grubbs.

 

The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
