Obituary of Randy Lynn Higgs

Randy Lynn Higgs, 46-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Saturday, May 13, 2023. He was born June 17, 1976, in Doniphan, to the late Earl L. and Emma Judy (Combs) Higgs.

Randy was proud to be a loving husband and brother. He had worked with area students as a substitute teacher and nurtured the importance of education. Randy had attended Three Rivers College and Black River Tech where he gained a pre-journalism degree and also became a certified welder. Randy served as President of Water District #2. He was a 90s country music fan and liked to travel and go exploring on his ATV. Randy attended First Church of God.

On December 22, 2019, Randy married Terri Cochran in Doniphan. She survives. Also surviving is his brother, Jason Higgs of Doniphan, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Judy and Jim Cochran.

Visitation will be in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 18, 2023, beginning at noon. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Elijah Allen and Matthew O’Neal officiating. Burial will be in Hunt-White Memorial Gardens.
