Obituary of Peggy Joyce Lawrence

Peggy Joyce Lawrence, 78, of Ozark, MO, departed this life on Thursday, July 27, 2023. She was born January 14, 1945, in Randolph County, AR, to Carl and Ildean (Wright) Foster.

Peggy enjoyed and lived for time spent with friends and family. She delighted in partaking in good food. Her favorite pastime was watching Westerns with the preferred TV shows being Gunsmoke and The Virginian. She was of the Church of Christ faith.

Surviving are her daughters, Carlene Mayberry of Ozark, Darlene Foulks of Columbia, MO, and Joy Lea Groning of Corning, AR, and a brother, Wesley Foster of Doniphan. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Chelle Wilcut, Chanel Willey, Andy Burke, Aaron Burke, Stephanie Merideth, and Whitney Parish; 12 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; as well as nephews, Chuck and Mike Foster of Doniphan.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 31, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Foster Family Cemetery.
