Obituary of Christine Kay Johnson

Christine Kay Johnson (Littrell), 57-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Friday, September 29, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.  She was born September 19, 1966, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Hal and Mildred Littrell (Fish).

Christine’s world was her daughter, Crystal. In Christine’s eyes the sun rose and set in her daughter.  She loved to do crafts and loved all animals.  In her pastime she loved to listen to gospel music.

Surviving is her daughter, Crystal Johnson of Doniphan; ex-husband, Eddie Johnson of Doniphan; one brother, Danny Littrell (Sherri) of Doniphan; one sister, Michelle Rosson (Keith) of Doniphan; brothers-in-law, Doug Johnson (Betty) and Charlie Johnson (Brenda); sisters-in-law, Connie Hastings, Rosie Plumb (Rusty), Kim Wells (Ray), and Sandy Johnson, all of Doniphan; along with many nieces and nephews.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Rudy and Velma Littrell and Ellsie and Myrtle Fish; one sister, Lora Cook (Stanley); father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sonny and Bonnie Johnson; and brother-in-law, Donnie Johnson.

Visitation will be at Edwards Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 5 to 7 pm.
