Obituary of Randy Watson
Randy “Red” Gale Watson, 68, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Friday, November 24, 2023, at Gainesville Healthcare Center in Gainesville, MO.
Red Watson, son of Lonnie & Cecile (McKnight) Watson, was born April 9, 1955, in Canyonville, OR.
He was a sawmiller and previously worked in the oil fields. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and raising two sons. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany.
On April 4, 1981, he Married Sheila Kinman in Big Springs, TX. She preceded him in death on January 19, 2020.
Surviving are his children; Adam (Natalie) Watson of Dora, MO and Matthew (Megan) Watson of Fairdealing; one sister Peggy (Robert) Yount of Doniphan; one brother David (Barbara) Watson of Paragould; grandchildren Kirsten, Bryler, Junior, Lexy, Logan, Landyn, Layton, Levi, Lilly, and Luke; one great-grandson Travis; and his father Lonnie Watson of Briar.
Red Watson is preceded in death by his wife Sheila, mother Cecile Maxine Watson, and one sister Sandra Watson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, from 12 - 2 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. Funeral service will be Friday December 1, 2023, at 2 pm with Bruce & Gayla Williams, burial will be in the Bardley Cemetery.
