Obituary of Pat Jamison
Patsy “Pat” Jamison, 82-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Encompass Health Rehab in Jonesboro, AR, with family by her side. She was born June 6, 1941, in Paragould, AR, to the late Joe and Gertha (Biggs) Wright.
Pat operated several family-owned businesses in Doniphan with her husband, sister, and brother-in-law. She was a devoted Christian attending the United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church. Pat loved her Razorbacks, gardening, golf, birdwatching, reading, working crossword puzzles, bowling, and above all else spending time with her family.
On December 30, 1961, Pat joined hands in marriage with Clayton Jamison in Paragould, AR. Their enduring love story recently celebrated 62 years of shared memories and companionship. Clayton survives her, cherishing the legacy of their enduring bond.
Pat is survived by her loving daughters, Terri Jamison of Houston, Texas and Lisa Jamison of Doniphan. Her granddaughters, Amanda Jamison and Alicia Beard, continue her legacy with fond memories and shared experiences. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Ronald Wright of Doniphan and sister, Carolyn Long of Hollister.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Wright; sister, Geneva Faulk; and brother-in-law, Fred Long.
Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday January 18, 2024, from 11am until 1 pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday January 18, 2024, at 1 pm. with Bro Wade Rogers officiating. Interment will be in Hunt-White Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
