Obituary of Alice Katheryn Lesley

Alice Katheryn Lesley, 68-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Friday, April 26, 2024. She was born September 24, 1955, in Essex, MO, to the late Samuel and Henrietta (Smoot) Lesley.

 

Alice and her family enjoyed many and varied experiences as they often moved from place-to-place making new friends and meeting new neighbors. Ultimately, Alice ended up living in California where she worked as an iron worker. After moving so often, Alice enjoyed time alone knitting and crocheting. She loved her family and animals always won her heart.

 

Surviving are her sisters, Gloria Judycki and Dinah Adams, both of Poplar Bluff, MO, and brothers, Brian Lesley of Alabama and Benjamin Lesley of Ohio. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Marie in Vancouver, WA and Delvena (Ron) in Anchorage, AK, and many dear nieces and nephews

 

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by sisters, Frances Orr, Marj Munnerlyn, Brenda Wilson, Marilyn Traughber, and Bertha Lesley; a brother, Lee Lesley; and her stepfather, Gene Rydvall.

 

A private family service will be held at a later date.
