Haidyn Levi Hastings, two-week old infant of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, March 12, 2012, at the Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan.
Haidyn, son of Larry Joe and Megan (Clifton) Hastings, was born February 26, 2012, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Surviving are his parents, Larry Joe and Megan Hastings of Doniphan; his grandparents, Terry Hastings of Grandin, and Connie (Johnson) Hastings and Henry Clifton, both of Doniphan; his great grandmothers, Thelma Brown of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Eldora Clifton of Doniphan and Paulene and Ray Wood of Granite City, Illinois; two uncles, Terry Hastings II and wife, Kelli, of Ponka, Oklahoma, and Austin Copeland of Doniphan; one aunt, Misty Clifton of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; two cousins, Jacob Hastings and Cody Rector; and many more family members who loved him.
Haidyn was preceded in death by his grandmother, Paula Wagner, two cousins, John William Hastings and Lily Bonita Hastings, and his great grandparents, Charles and Bonita Johnson, William (Bill) Hastings and Harry Clifton.
Visitation for Haidyn will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning, March 17, 2012, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Fred Wiktorek officiating. Burial will be in the Shirley Cemetery.
