Donna Kay Julius, 40, of Grandin, Missouri, died Sunday, September 2, 2007, at the residence of a friend.
Ms. Julius was born September 20, 1966, at Doniphan, Missouri. A restaurant cook, she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and was an avid member of the Dew Drop Inn..
She is survived by two daughters, Loni Swigert of Ellsinore and Krystal Spicer of Doniphan; her father, Don Elder of Winona; four sisters, Peggy Winter of Festus, Charolette Bourbon of Eminence, Janie Silman of Doniphan and Kelly Saffle of Ellsinore; one brother, Donny Elder of Grandin; and three grandchildren, Jordan Wilson, Abigail Swigert and Josiah Swigert. An additional grandchild is expected in March, 2008.
Ms. Julius was preceded in death by her mother, Joy McConnaughay Elder and one sister, Linda Hubbard.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 6, 2007, beginning at noon at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery.
