Obituary of Josh Longhibler

Josh Longhibler, 41-year-old resident of Poplar Bluff, MO, departed this life December 21, 2024. He was born June 28, 1983, in Grand Rapids, MI, to the late Debera (Haun) and Earl Longhibler, Jr.

Josh worked in construction, a field in which he took great pride. Outside of work, he enjoyed staying active by working out, playing golf, and spending time playing video games. Music was one of Josh’s passions, and he could often be found listening to his favorite tunes.  Above all, Josh’s proudest title was “DAD”. He cherished his children, and they brought him immeasurable joy.

Surviving are his children, Taylor Dixon, Kylee Dixon, Hayle Dixon, and Caleb Dixon, of Poplar Bluff, MO; his significant other, Misty Dixon, of Poplar Bluff; brother, Jason (Jessica) Longhibler, also of Poplar Bluff; and his dog and best friend, Jet.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 9, 2025, beginning at 5:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m.
