Robert Clayborn Woods, 80, of Fairdealing, Missouri, died Monday, April 2, 2012, at Westwood Hills Healthcare in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mr. Woods, son of Herbert Luther and Anna Bell (Irvin) Woods, was born October 15, 1931, in San Angelo, Texas. He was a truck driver and enjoyed building models. Mr. Woods was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #47.
Surviving are two sisters, Margaret Ward of Fairdealing, Missouri, and Martha Long of Evant, Texas, and two brothers, Clarence "Herb" Woods of Bertram, Texas, and James Woods of South Fulton, Tennessee.
A memorial service for Mr. Woods will be held Thursday morning, April 5, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan, Missouri.
