Kenneth Honeycutt, 73, lifetime resident of Doniphan, Missouri, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Kenneth was born March 3, 1939, in Doniphan to C. O. and Madeline (Niswonger) Honeycutt. He had been a used car dealer for several years. He was married to Geneva Williams in Doniphan on May 19, 1960, and she survives. Also surviving are three daughters; Sheila Hess, Dotty (and Jon) Thomas and Debbie (and Monty) Farmer, all of Doniphan; five grandchildren, Timmy Honeycutt of the home, Jon Thomas, Heather Bailey and Kimber Thomas, all of Doniphan and Trisha West of Poplar Bluff; two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Thomas and Lucas Barker, both of Doniphan; two sisters, Helen (and Irving) Duffey of Doniphan and Joyce (and Thomas) Hight of Enid, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Kenneth was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Ann Honeycutt, his parents, C. O. and Madeline Honeycutt, one brother, Ocie Ray Honeycutt, and two sisters, Dessie Swift and Ethel Honeycutt. Visitation for Mr. Honeycutt will be Thursday evening, April 5, 2012, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will take place Friday afternoon, April 6, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Kenneth Melton officiating. Burial will follow in the Doniphan City Cemetery. Memorials may be made c/o Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.
