Obituary of Logan Halley-Schalk

Logan Anthony Louis Halley Schalk, 17, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Friday, October 12, 2007, in Carter County, Missouri. Mr. Schalk was born January 14, 1990, at Poplar Bluff, Missouri. A student, he enjoyed life, skateboarding, swimming in the river and making people laugh. He attended West Point Pentecostal Church. Surviving are his mother, Darlene Halley Crader of Doniphan; his father, Tony Schalk of Poplar Bluff; his sister, Morgan Halley of Doniphan; maternal grandparents, Louis and Georgia Halley of Doniphan; paternal grandparents, Charles and Brenda Schalk of Poplar Bluff; two aunts, Barbie Hill of Lake Ozark, Missouri, and Cheryl Kepley of Doniphan; four uncles, Jerry Halley of Doniphan, Eddie Halley of Iberia, Missouri, and Phillip Schalk and Mike Schalk, both of Poplar Bluff; one nephew, Masen Vosburg of Doniphan; and several cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Steven Crader. Visitation will be Monday, October 15, 2007, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the West Point Pentecostal Church in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 16, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the church with Brother Charles Carr, Sr. and Brother Shane Nagell officiating. Burial will follow at the Hunt-White Cemetery. Edwards Funeral Home of Doniphan is in charge of arrangements.
