Patricia Ann Pruitt, 48, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, November 12, 2007, at her residence.
Mrs. Pruitt was born November 10, 1959, at St. Louis, Missouri. She had been a nurse at the Ripley County Memorial Hospital for 30 years and enjoyed reading, computers and crocheting.
On May 28, 1988, she was married to Hank Pruitt at Doniphan. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Justin Knapp of Fairdealing, Missouri; her mother, Ola Nelson of Fairdealing; and five brothers, Donald Nelson of St. Peters, Missouri, Charles Nelson of Florissant, Missouri, Ed Nelson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Scott Nelson of Jackson, Tennessee, and Kevin Nelson of Milan, Tennessee. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Nelson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 14, 2007, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be Thursday morning, November 15, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Harold Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Cemetery.
