Obituary of Melba Webb

Melba Lee Webb, 66, of Fairdealing, Missouri, died Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at her residence.
Mrs. Webb was born April 10, 1941, in Monette, Arkansas. She had been previously employed at Wallace and Owens Supermarket as well as other local businesses and she and her husband formerly owned and operated the Singer Sewing Machine Center. Mrs. Webb enjoyed cooking and sewing and had attended the Spring Hill Baptist Church and Pilgrim's Rest . She liked to bowl and at one time her women's bowling team went to the national finals.
On August 1, 1955, she was married to Herbert Joe Webb at San Francisco, California. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Sherry Lee Roberts of Wolfforth, Texas, and Brenda Jean Enderlin of Kerrville, Texas; two sons, Mark Anthony Webb of Indianapolis, Indiana, and James Earl Webb of Aniston, Alabama; one sister, Barbara Jean Trice of Kelseyville, California; one brother, Glenn Doyle Ford of Reno, Nevada; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Webb was preceded in death by one son, Michael Eddy Webb; her parents, Nelson B. Ford and Angie Godwin Ford; two sisters, Mary "Punk" Quigley and Dorothy Quigley; one brother, William Ford; and one grandson.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 6, 2007, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan from 5 - 8 p.m. The funeral service will be Friday, December 7, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jared Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill cemetery.
