Betty Ann Cox, 72, of Fairdealing, Missouri, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at her residence.
Mrs. Cox, daughter of Ellis and Mildred (Mayo) Richardson, was born September 10, 1940, in Peach Orchard, Missouri. In earlier years she had worked in food service in St. Louis and years later she enjoyed being a housewife, taking care of her home and family. Mrs. Cox was a member of the Church of Christ.
On June 22, 1957, she was married to Bill Cox in St. Louis and he survives.
Also surviving are four sons; Paul Cox of Holcomb, Missouri, Doug Cox of Fairdealing, Darrell Cox of Atlanta, Georgia, and Phillip Cox of Troy, Missouri; one brother, Bill Richardson of St. Louis; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Mildred Richardson.
Visitation for Mrs. Cox will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at noon in the funeral home chapel and burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
