Delvie Gene Smith, Jr., 49-year-old resident of St. Louis, died Monday, February 11, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Smith was born February 4, 1964, in Metarie, Louisiana. He was a car dealer and enjoyed traveling, his job, finding new places to eat, and Elvis Presley.
He is survived by his mother, Pansy Smith, of Creve Coeur, Missouri; one aunt, Alma Burrow, of St. Louis; and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delvie Gene Smith, Sr.
Funeral services for Mr. Smith will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 14, 2013, at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Earl of First Church of God in Doniphan, officiating. Burial will be in the Doniphan Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Thursday.
