Gregory Jason Ormsby, 42, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Sunday, May 19, 2013, in rural Ripley County, Missouri, as a result of an accident along with his wife, Stacey.
Mr. Ormsby, son of Larry David and Patricia Elaine (Tillman) Ormsby, was born December 7, 1970, at Pocahontas, Arkansas. He had been a carpenter in residential construction. A life-long resident of Ripley County, Jason enjoyed woodworking, motorcycling and being with his grandchildren. He attended Center Hill Church.
On November 27, 2004, he was married to Stacey Johannsen in Oxly, Missouri.
Surviving are three children, Ethan Ormsby, Leeza Mattingly and Cortney Johannsen, all of Doniphan; his parents, Larry and Elaine Ormsby of Doniphan; one brother, Dwayne Ormsby of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Paige Maxwell, Rylee Maxwell and Cutter Maxwell.
Visitation for Jason will begin on Friday afternoon, May 24, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel and burial will be in the Center Hill Cemetery.
