Obituary of Peggy Bradham
Please share a memory of Peggy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Peggy June Bradham of Fairdealing, Missouri, was called by the angels on Monday, November 25, 2013. She died peacefully at home.
She was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee on January 31, 1931, to Roy and Alta (Reed) Daniels. Mrs. Bradham spent her early childhood in Tennessee and moved to Southeast Missouri where she met James Bradham. They were married on November 19, 1949, in Piggott, Arkansas. James and Peggy walked through this life together hand in hand for 64 wonderful years.
In 1958 the Bradhams moved to Northern Illinois eventually settling in Plano, Illinois. Mrs. Bradham was the vice-president and co-owner of Jim's Military Relics and was known and loved throughout the community. She loved to spend her time talking with customers, reading and collected salt and pepper shakers from around the globe. Mrs. Bradham enjoyed a good joke and her laugh was truly infectious. Her biggest passion in life, however, were her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Bradham is survived by her husband James and their children: Larry (Jan) Bradham of Earlville, Illinois, twins Jeanne Bradham of Oswego, Illinois, and Jimmy (Lisa) Bradham and James Clay (Tammi) Bradham all of Fairdealing, Missouri; her grandchildren Valerie Bradham of Springfield, Missouri, and Nathan Bradham of Fairdealing, Missouri; step-grandchildren, Sarah Gearson Sheppard of Fairdealing, Missouri, and Sean (Laurel) Gearson of Memphis, Tennessee; and two great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Peyton Gearson of Memphis, Tennessee.
She will be missed by Betty and Charles Royse and the rest of her extended family members that still reside in and around Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, and also her two dogs, Little Bit and BJ
She enjoyed many special friendships over the years with many people including Denise Vankirk, Sam and Mary Mahara, Webb and Dora Johnson and many, many more.
Visitation will be Monday, December 2, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan, Missouri. The funeral service will follow at noon in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will take place at 3:00 p.m. at the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.
