Linda Mae Totty, 56, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Monday, June 9, 2008, at her residence.
Mrs. Totty was born May 30, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri. A factory seamstress, she loved her family as well as country and bluegrass music.
She had been married to Edward Leroy Totty in Illinois and he preceded her in death in 1984.
Mrs. Totty is survived by two sons, Daniel Joseph Cavanaugh and David Edward Totty and wife, Mandy Lynn, all of Gibson, Louisiana; two daughters, Kimberly Diane Barnes of New Florence, Missouri, and Melanie Lynn Cavanaugh of Doniphan; two sisters, Diane Young of Glenn Carbon, Illinois, and Kathy Barnes of Caseyville, Illinois; two brothers, Clyde Barnes of Potoka, Illinois, and Roger Barnes of Eddyville, Kentucky; and six grandchildren, Melinda Cavanaugh, Sean Cavanaugh, Kayla Vernoy, Destinie Pellegrin, Allie Pellegrin and Logan Pellegrin.
Mrs.Totty was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Barnes and Lillie May Neely, and two sisters, Patricia Spikes and Sonya Barnes.
A private burial service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
