Everett Theodore Nance, Sr., 79 year old resident of Grandin, Missouri, died Monday, February 24, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Nance, son of Ernest and Bertha (Cannon) Nance, was born February 8, 1935, in Grandin. He was self-employed, having worked in the construction and grocery business. He enjoyed playing cards, gambling, spending time with family and visiting with people.
In June of 1955, he was married to Mary Lou Evans, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Everett T. Nance, Jr., Randall Nance and Clifton Nance all of Grandin; two daughters, Debbie Odom of Doniphan, Missouri, and Cathy Runge of Ellsinore, Missouri; one sister, Bessy Ruminer of Doniphan; fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marie Winnie; and brothers Tom, Jake, and Ernie Nance.
Funeral services for Mr. Nance will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 27, 2014, at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with John Crowley officiating. Burial will be in the Grandin City Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Nance will begin at 11:00 A.M. Thursday.
