Mary Lou Nance, 74 year old resident of Grandin, Missouri, died Friday May 16, 2014, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Nance, daughter of Leroy & Florence (Stilts) Evans, was born February 13, 1940 in Mounds, IL . She was self-employed, having worked in the grocery business. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, spending time with family and visiting with people. In June of 1955, she was married to Everett Nance, who preceded her in death on February 24, 2014. Surviving are three sons, Everett T. Nance, Jr., Randall Nance and Clifton Nance all of Grandin; two daughters, Debbie Odom of Doniphan, Missouri, and Cathy Runge of Ellsinore, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; two sisters Hazel McMurtry and Clesta Key both of Doniphan; and one brother Jerry Evans of Imperial, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers Leroy "Junior" Evans, Hershel Evans, Harold Evans, & Charles Evans and one sister Christine Digllenger. Funeral services for Mrs. Nance will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday May 18, 2014, at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with John Crowley officiating. Burial will be in the Grandin City Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Nance will begin at noon Sunday.
