Jacob Coblentz
Jacob N. Coblentz, 66, of Grandin, Missouri, died Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at his residence after months of suffering from myeloma and congestive heart failure.
Jacob was born September 23, 1941, at Apple Creek, Ohio. He was a member of the Grandin Mennonite Church.
On November 28, 1968, he married Mildred Steiner in Benton, Ohio. She survives.
Also surviving are five sons: David and his wife, Bonita, of Grandin; Titus and his wife, Elaine, of Tunas; Nelson and his wife, Rachael, of Barnett; Jason and his wife, Susanna, of Doniphan; and Marcus of the home; three daughters: Carol of the home, Ruth of Beloit, Wisconsin; and Rosemary of Myerstown, Pennsylvania; thirteen grandchildren; five brothers: Perry of Millersburg, Ohio; Lester of Plain City, Ohio; Daniel of Harredsburg, Kentucky; Aden of Guthrie, Kentucky; and Raymond of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; and four sisters: Anna Myers of Asuncion, Paraguay; Mary Stoll of Odon, Indiana; Erma Byler of Auburn, Kentucky; and Ada Byler of Russellville, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Katie Ann Coblentz.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 8, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Grandin Mennonite Church. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, at the Grandin Mennonite Church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery
