LuEller Mae (Beebe) Blackshear, 92, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, departed this life Sunday, August 3, 2014, at the Randolph Home in Pocahontas.
Mrs. Blackshear, daughter of Phillip and Mary (Brandon) Beebe, was born November 14, 1921, in Kieser, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading the Bible and rocking babies.
She was married to Buell Blackshear on May 27, 1940, and he preceded her in death on August 6, 2006.
Surviving are 8 children: J. T. Blackshear, Buell Blackshear, Jr. and David Blackshear, all of Doniphan, Missouri; Mary Snider of Sikeston, Missouri, Reggie Mae Brooks of Michigan, Bonnie Zebre of Wyoming, Elizabeth Cox of Maynard, Arkansas, and Sharon Ray of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; 27 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Goldie Miller and Laurie Belcher-May of Doniphan; and one brother, Roy Reynolds of Poplar Bluff..
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 infant children; 3 sisters, Nellie Blackshear, Edna Tucker and Maurie Reynolds; and four brothers Phillip Beebe, Albert Beebe, H. S. Reynolds and Mike Beebe.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, August 8, 2014, from 5 - 7 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow Saturday morning, August 9, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in the Ponder Cemetery.
