Doyle Louis Foulks, 71, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Thursday, July 31, 2014.
Mr. Foulks, son of Frank Foulks and Dortha (Anderson) Foulks Calvert, was born May 1, 1943, in the Tucker community of Ripley County, Missouri. He had been a well-driller and enjoyed riding his motorcycle in his leisure time.
Surviving are six children: Carlene Mayberry of Ozark, Missouri, Darlene Rosario of Columbia, Missouri, Stevie Decker of Springfield, Missouri, and Joy Groning, Shannon Jones and Cassey Johnson, all of Doniphan, Missouri; three brothers, Dale Foulks and Jim Foulks, both of Doniphan and Ed Foulks of Cahokia, Illinois; one sister, Frankie Ballard of Pocahontas, Arkansas; one step-sister, Dorene Brown of Fairdealing, Missouri; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Foulks and Dorotha Foulks Calvert; his step-father who raised him, Amos Calvert; one brother, Charles "Whitty" Foulks; two sisters, Barbara Sue Crapo and Vicki Lawrence; and one step-brother, Pat Calvert.
Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon, August 10, 2014, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan starting at 2:30 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel and burial will be in the Tucker Cemetery in Tucker, Missouri.
