Rickey Lee Jarrett, 45, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Saturday evening, August 23, 2014, in rural Ripley County, Missouri.
Rickey, son of Jerry and Barbara (Coleman) Jarrett, was born December 15, 1968, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was employed in construction and enjoyed barbecuing and being on the river. Rickey could fix anything and was especially good at repairing electronics.
Surviving are his father, Jerry Jarrett of Poplar Bluff; one son, Devon Jarrett of Doniphan; one sister, Shirley (and John) Greer of Piggott, Arkansas; one brother, Gary Decker of Springfield, Missouri; and numerous other family members.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jarrett.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at noon at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Leon Harvey officiating. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery.
