Daisy Velma Crawford, 75 year old resident of Manila, AR, died Friday, September 5, 2014 in the Manila Nursing Home. Mrs. Crawford was born October 12, 1938 in the Big Barren Community of Ripley County to the late Redden (Buster) Taylor of Doniphan and the late Leta Bridges Taylor Woody of Steele, MO. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Steele, MO and had worked as a Supervisor in a Nursing Home.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two husbands, Charles (Pete) Clifford Ryan and Wesley Wendell Crawford, and a brother Clarence Taylor.
Surviving are 3 sons, Bradley Crawford and his wife Michelle of Brookland, AR; Chuck Ryan and his wife Lisa of Gosnell, AR; Randy Ryan and his wife Teresa of Brookland, AR; 2 daughters, Delayna Slavings and her husband Jeremy of Hayti, MO; Dana Schafer and her husband Chris of Wendell, N.C.; one sister, Ella Dean Wooldridge of Campbell, MO; 5 brothers, Gerald and Earl Taylor, both of Doniphan, MO; Wayne Taylor of Steele, MO; Kenneth Taylor of Rockfield, KY; Steve Woody of Poplar Bluff, MO; 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services for Mrs. Crawford will be held at 1:45 P.M. Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Big Barren Cemetery with Chris Ryan officiating. Visiting will be held from 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday.
