Geneva Miller, 91-year-old resident of Doniphan, Missouri, died October 11, 2008, at the Current River Nursing Center in Doniphan.
Mrs. Miller was born September 23, 1917, in Ripley County, Missouri. She was a dietician and had worked in a hospital in Rockford, Illinois. Mrs. Miller enjoyed quilting and was a good cook.
On April 28, 1942, she was married to Bonnie Miller in Doniphan. He preceded her in death January 8, 2004. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Elmer and Laura Brooks Steele, one baby son, Jerry Daniel, and two brothers, William Fred "Jack" Steele and Raymond Steele.
Surviving is one brother, Guy Steele, of Doniphan.
Funeral services for Mrs. Miller will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 16, 2008, in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Hubert Payne officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.
