Bill Adams of Naples, Florida, passed away on December 23, 2014, at the age of 88.
He was married to Patricia Lacy on July 2, 1949, and she survives.
Also surviving are his children, Deborah Jung and Jeffrey Adams; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Bill was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving aboard LCS13 in the Pacific. He attended Westminster College (Delta Tau Delta) and was graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor's degree and University of Missouri with a Master's degree. After teaching 35 years at Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park, Illinois, he retired to Naples in 1985 and summered in Doniphan, Missouri. He was manager of Evergreen Park Aqua Swimming Pools for many years.
Gifts in his memory may be made to Doniphan Methodist Church in Doniphan.
