Kenneth Earl Ford, 69, of Fairdealing, Missouri, died Saturday, January 3, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Ford was born April 6, 1939, in New Madrid County, Missouri, to the late Virgil and Reta Belle (Goodwin) Ford. He worked for General Motors in Marion, Indiana. He was a member of the Faith Seventh Day Baptist Church, a member of the Masonic Lodge and loved racing and cars. Mr. Ford was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He married Iva Lee Long on October 24, 1960, in Windfall Indiana. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons; Kevin Ford of Fairdealing and Kenneth Ford, Jr. of Tipton, Indiana; one daughter, Stacy Ford of Columbia, Missouri; two sisters, Bernadean Lowe of Harker Heights, Texas, and Sue Parks of Windfall, Indiana; two brothers, Ronnie Ford of Fairdealing and Steve Ford of Currentview, Missouri; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Elmer Ford.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM. Monday January 5, 2009, at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday January 6, 2009, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors.
